9125 Long Jacket
This swoonworthy coat is meant to be reasonably fitted (there's waist shaping, set-in sleeves, and the recommended ease is always less than 3"/8cm). Its only departure from total st st sleekness is in the knit/purl/slip stitch pattern on the back and front bodices and on the forearms. (We just love this last part, as it endows the whole piece with an unplaceable historical air). Front bands are worked up from stitches placed on hold after completing the hem ribbing, then worked up. Truly distinctive and decidedly British.
