This is a sweatery, cardiganish form that really gives the impression of a blazer, a jacket. This is rather miraculous, considering that it's so darned easy to make. The 'skirt' is A-line, sleeves set in, sleeve caps nicely rounded, shoulders sloped-- but it's all in st st, so duck soup. The only choice is between full-length sleeves and 3/4 ones (not short, as shown in the schematic). Two smart ridges of garter stitch separate the skirt from the bodice. The front borders are deep but simple ribbing.
