609 The Duck Sweater

Neatby: "Interlocking, tessellating ducks (inspired by M.C. Escher and Ecuadorian weaving) worked together using intarsia technique." A masterwork. It's hard to say that Neatby has ever had 'juvenilia'-- this pattern is over a decade old. Her particular sensibility just seemed to emerge as fully-formed into the knitting world as the goddess Athena springing from Zeus's forehead. Note that it is only given in one size. When done, you may want to hang it up like a tapestry on a showcase wall instead of wearing it. Modified drop shoulders.
