Eliza (Too) Shawl
A colourful triangular shawl knitted from the centre of the neck in a very special yarn with long colour changes
Motif is based on an old Anatolian pattern but I think Eliza Doolittle might have liked to wear this on those cool London mornings
Knitted in the round using a steek, which is then cut and wrapped in a stocking stitch binding to neaten up the edges
Eliza (Too) - the blues and greens one - is an every row increase version and a complete revision of my popular Eliza Shawl. This one is a slightly different motif with a different spacing to allow for the additional increases.
Eliza (Too) is a larger shawl and also takes more yarn (3 x 150g of Kauni Effektgarn than the original Eliza.
If you have already purchased the original Eliza here on Patternfish, the new Eliza (Too) is available in your Pattern Stash. Both versions of the pattern are available for download - make sure to check the title of the PDF to download either the original Eliza or the increase every row Eliza
Pictures are of both the new version (in blues and greens) and the original version (in rainbow or Kauni EQ)

Not sure what you mean about the 'interesting cast on' - what is baffling you? It starts out a little pointy but will easily block straight - have a look at the pictures here and on Ravelry and see it being blocked.
Any questions - feel free to email me - the email is on the pattern at the bottom

I have just started knitting this shawl. I too was a little daunted and I consider myself an experienced knitter. The pattern works so far.
I am a little baffled by the interesting cast on and the shape of the initial 9 rows.

Has anybody actually knit this shawl other than the original designer and how successful were you? Just reading over the pattern scares me and I am an experienced knitter. I have ordered the original yarn used for this piece.
Would love feedback.
New reviews will be available soon.
