9485 V Neck Cardigan

We are inexplicably, irrationally fond of this piece, insofar as it uses some very traditional gansey patterning writ extremely large, and is therefore both inevitable and surprising (as art is supposed to be). The sleeves are simply cast on kimono-style as you go up the back and fronts, though they're not as batwingy as you'd think. The back has the same zigzag knit/purl design as the front, one down from each shoulder. Front and armhole borders are knit separately and sewn on.
