GU425 Caswell Cardigan
Dempsey says this is "an easy-to-knit aran-style cardigan featuring basic cabling and a simple 4-row repeat." We say it's a treasure of a piece that would look incredible on men or women-- sensual in a sensible way, or perhaps the other way around. Drop-shouldered; the only diagonal lines are the V neck and the sleeve increases-- otherwise all is straightness. The yarn is knitted a little looser than its regular aran tension (18 sts to 4"/10cm in st st) to allow for extra drape. The charts here are especially large and clear. Ribbing is twisted on the knit stitches.
