Spring Cardigan
WEB EXCLUSIVE
A deluxe use of colour and stitchwork-- and fantastically easy to boot. Aside from normal sleeve increases and the V neck shaping, everything here is a straight line. All the knitting is on the bias, so it's worked diagonally; this lends extra drape to the fabric (as all seamstresses know). This is accentuated by having the DK-weight yarn worked on 6.5mm/US10 needles. Front borders and cuffs are edged in crab stitch (backwards single crochet). We're not sure why it's a 'Spring' cardigan; we would wear it any time of year and appropriate fibre blends. Gauge given over garter stitch.
