FKD-PT Peridot Tunic
Peridot is the 10th design from the Shades of Green Knitting Collection.
The Peridot tunic is a knit sweater in the round. It is worked from the bottom up in one piece. Perfect for those of us that love making garments, but can't abide sewing seams!
Peridot features a wide rounded neckline edged in the same feather and fan lace pattern as is used for the lower body.
Recommended Fit: The Peridot Tunic is designed to be very close fitting. This means for a look as shown in photos you should choose a size that is your actual bust measurement or up to 2 inches less than actual measurement. Of course, fit is personal, so select a size based on what's comfortable for you.
You will need a locking stitch marker to note the beginning of your round during the lower portion of Peridot. Due to how the stitches must fall to make the feather and fan ripple, the cable cross portion is worked directly over the round join. To make this work, you will need to unclip the marker on every cabled row, turn the cable, and replace the marker in the center of the cable.
Pattern calls for 3 needles sizes:
US size 3/3mm 24 to 40” circular and dpns,
US size 3/3.25mm, 24 to 40” circular,
US size 4/3.5mm 24 to 40” circular.
