for Kollage Yarns   2011

3699 Twist of Fate

Zimmerman is an extraordinary talent, and here she pares down the visuals to just the most arresting elements. The 'cable' is a faux cable, so you don't need a cable needle (nothing to disappear down the side of a car seat or in amongst the couch cushions). And the vertical slipped stitch just reinforces the light, soft quality of the yarn, and points up the cables. And that's about it. This would be fabulous on anyone-- men, women, children.
