To our publishers and customers

[April 30, 2019] After almost 11 successful years in business, Patternfish will cease selling patterns on 31 May, 2019.

We will continue to make our customers' stashes accessible to them to the end of 30 June, 2019, in order to provide them with time to save their purchased patterns to their personal hard drives.

Thank you all so very much for your enthusiastic support over the years.  It has meant an enormous amount to us.

9212 Sweater (age 6 up)

Britain does America. Here is a rugged, straight-sided, shawl-collared classic that seems to belong more to Montana than Yorkshire-- but what do we know? It's extremely easy to make. The sleeve caps are rounded, and the shoulders sloped; there's no armhole curve or indent, and of course shaping the neck is simplicity itself. Collar is knitted completely separately and then sewn into position. The print is large, the knitting easy, the look very relaxed and confident. The Connemara Chunky was introduced after this pattern, but should work perfectly-- just get gauge.

Wendy-- we checked the PDF and it's fine. Note that all Sirdar, Hayfield, and Sublime patterns are A4 size, not 8.5" x 11" (it's just a bit different). If you choose the "Shrink To Fit" option on your printer menu, you should be in great shape.

When printing out page 4 of this pattern the first line at the top of the page was missing. I needed to write it out from the pattern on line.
