for Fiddlesticks Knitting 2010
This long, elegantly flared vest is a sophisticated addition to the wardrobe. Worn over T-shirt and jeans or leggings, or dressed up over a blouse and wide trousers, it makes a stylish statement that is sure to attract attention!
Vest is knit in one piece from bottom edge to armholes, where work is divided for fronts and back. Front facings and collar are knit together with body. Shoulder seams are sewn, then stitches are picked up for armhole edges. A large brooch or shawl pin can be used to close the vest. The only sewing required is at the shoulder seams.
