1471 Tunic

A feast of stitchery for the tactile knitter-- and onlooker. This is a straight-sided piece with no armhole shaping at all; the armbands are picked up from the straight sides and knit out. Shoulders are shaped, but the back neck is straight too. The collar is picked up from the neck and knit circularly out in an intriguing pattern with two interesting rounds out of every five (extra wraps and cabling involved here, but it should be some of the easiest cabling you ever do). The result is an absolutely unique piece.
