1468 Lacy Shell

A remarkably simple top, but full of va-va-voom; the yarn is mostly supple soft alpaca, with a bit of glimmer to caress the eye as well as the body. The stitch pattern is very easy-- four rows, and you hardly have to pay attention at all. And then the pattern is exceedingly simple too-- four very short paragraphs, back and front identical, ribbing at the neck. Then you sew the sides of the neck ribbing together and the bottom of the body, just leaving natural armholes. That's all. And yet the look is so complex, and so alluring...
