To our publishers and customers

[April 30, 2019] After almost 11 successful years in business, Patternfish will cease selling patterns on 31 May, 2019.

We will continue to make our customers' stashes accessible to them to the end of 30 June, 2019, in order to provide them with time to save their purchased patterns to their personal hard drives.

Thank you all so very much for your enthusiastic support over the years.  It has meant an enormous amount to us.

5589 Ladies Cable Cardigan

Quite a breathtaking piece that contains a paradox. The yoke, while less busy than the 'skirt', commends most of the attention and draws the eye, while the 'skirt' contains a wonderful combination of (slimming) dense cabling and yet really just supports the upper piece of the garment. The front garter bands are put on hold after you work the hem, then knit separately to fit up the sides of the fronts and sewn down; the sleevelets are faced after a purl foldline, for strength and emphasis. The combination of textures is exhilarating.
