221 Neck Down Summer Cardigan

Soucy: "Written for DK or light worsted yarn knitted loosely at a gauge of 18 stitches to 4 inches, this little cardigan is perfect for wearing over dresses and tank tops. It has eyelet increases for a lacy look. Sizes x-small to x-large."

There are certain people in our lives that we must trust if we are going to live free of suspicion and self-doubt; it would be a happy world indeed if our partners, our friends, our children, our co-workers, our families helped us feel safe. For knitters, the excellent pattern writer is essential to our confidence and well being, and Soucy provides. She advises "the first couple of rows may be confusing because you are shaping the back of the neck. Just follow the directions carefully; it will make sense as you knit farther along."

Soucy offers a very detailed, illustrated knit-along guide to her top-down sweaters here.
