Hooded Baby Sweater (Top Down, 6 - 12 months)

"This adorable sweater zips up the back for easy on/off," says Parker. "It has an optional cable up the front and will be perfect for a baby up to size 12 months. Sweater is knit (in one piece-- Ed.) from the hood down." This last makes it a really unusual prize; most top-down pieces of this kind have you start at the neck and work down, then pick up from the neck and knit the hood up. Parker's approach means less fiddling and a seam-free neck-- a big advantage when thinking of the smallest people. Raglan sleeves are worked flat, then seamed. If you choose the Bearfoot, it's used doubled.
