To our publishers and customers

[April 30, 2019] After almost 11 successful years in business, Patternfish will cease selling patterns on 31 May, 2019.

We will continue to make our customers' stashes accessible to them to the end of 30 June, 2019, in order to provide them with time to save their purchased patterns to their personal hard drives.

Thank you all so very much for your enthusiastic support over the years.  It has meant an enormous amount to us.

Diane Soucy

for Knitting Pure and Simple

9727 Henley T Shirt for Women (Top Down)
WEB EXCLUSIVE

Soucy: "This comfy T shirt is knitted from the top down, and uses worsted weight yarn (Aran or 12 ply) at a gauge of 4 1/2 stitches to the inch. Make sure you measure a garment that fits the way you like to choose which size to make. Some knitters have used a smaller needle to get a bit tighter gauge to make a smaller size. Finished measurements 38 to 50 inches." We don't know why Henleys always seem so classy to us, unless it's the provenance of the name (the Henley Royal Regatta in Oxfordshire has been going since 1839). Regardless, it's always a winner, and this is a beautiful version.

Soucy offers a very detailed, illustrated knit-along guide to her top-down sweaters here.
