The universal flattery of this piece is beyond dispute. Bunn is a superb designer, very conscious of tailoring, who has sloped the shoulders and shaped the back neck of this piece ideally. This is in addition to the beautiful cut of the set-in sleeves, cap shaping, and Empire-styled waist. The lace pattern of the skirt is actually quite easy: 8 pattern rows, and only the odd-numbered ones have any ssk's or RT's (Right Twists) or yo's or the like. The schematic is excellent, the pattern detailed, the garment a marvel. From Nashua Handknits Book 18, North American Designer Collection #4.
