To our publishers and customers

[June 16, 2019] The site has now stopped selling patterns.

[April 30, 2019] After almost 11 successful years in business, Patternfish will cease selling patterns on 16 June, 2019.

We will continue to make our customers' stashes accessible to them to the end of 30 June, 2019, in order to provide them with time to save their purchased patterns to their personal hard drives.

Thank you all so very much for your enthusiastic support over the years.  It has meant an enormous amount to us.

Kristin Nicholas

for Classic Elite Yarns   1992

407 Tartan Mohair Afghan
WEB EXCLUSIVE

Rob Roy had his tartan, and of course so did all the great Scots families for many centuries. Either copy theirs, the one presented here, or imagine your own for fun-- you will have an heirloom that should last for decades. Just be confident in your choice of colours to please the Nicholas spirit. The single-stitch vertical or horizontal lines can be added on after the fact in embroidered chain stitch, or with a crochet hook; or (you fanatic, you) they can be knitted in as you go.
