Carol Sunday

for Sunday Knits   2011

Tapestry

Hopelessly romantic, richly cabled cardigan with natural shaping incorporated into the stitch pattern, lace details on bodice and a sweetheart neckline.

Sweater body is knit from the bottom in one piece to underarms, then knit as two fronts and a back, with front cable borders that continue as a narrow band around the neckline. Buttonholes are worked into front cable. Sleeves are set in.

(Says Greg: "Remember when we were in England and we went to castles and saw things in glass cases there? This looks like those." We can't say fairer, literally, than that-- Ed.)
