Mohair & Crepe Cardigan

"This shawl collar sweater is light and warm," says Jennings. "Makes a quick knit. Carry both yarns together to knit body of sweater." There is an intriguing use of the fibres here. All cast-on and cast-off edges are worked with 3 strands of the wool crepe; the body has the extra plush interest of the mohair. An 8-stitch cable panel runs up each front (but there are none on the back). Armholes are indented once for a modified drop shoulder; sleeve tops are flat. A glorious warm piece with oodles of texture and colour.
