Adrienne Thomas

for Perl Grey

If you are not already sold on knitted skirts, this one will convince you. Knit in the round from the hem up to the waist, long or short, it's comfortable, rotatable (so there is never a "front" or "back"), and ridiculously easy to make. The only straight knitting is to make the waistband so elastic might be inserted; therefore there's practically no sewing, either. The bottom hem circumference is 36", 40", or 44"; waist size is pretty much determined by yours. And travelling-- is it packable? "Store skirt by rolling", they say. Sweet.
