286 Bulky Shrug (Top Down)

"This fast-to-knit shrug is made with super bulky yarn at a gauge of 10 sts to 4 inches on huge needles," says Soucy. "Knitted from the top down, it avoids those bulky seams, and closes with one pretty button. The yarn shown is Kraemer Yarns Bear Creek. Sizes x-small through x-large." This very stylish top goes with everything, and Soucy's point about no seams in such a thick yarn is an excellent one; there's no extra thicknesses at the raglan seamlines, which contributes svelteness to the overall flattery.
