P.901 Raglan Sweaters (preemie through 3 years)
We are excessively fond of this pattern. One simple elongated cable, mirrored, forms a cable panel on its own, and is offset with columns of st st; and single cable columns flank the sides. You may choose a modern rolled edge or a traditional ribbed one. Either way, the look is very relaxed and smart-- not as tense as a rigorous adherence to tradition could make it, but not crazy new, either. Lovely that it's available in preemie sizes. Raglan sleeves are the easiest to put on and take off (the 1st Baron Raglan lost his right arm at Waterloo; the style was devised for him afterward), and it's nice to see such stylish pieces available for preemies, too, who need such help.
