Sirdar

c.2008

8990 Cardigan
WEB EXCLUSIVE

The silhouette here is extraordinarily simple, with a slightly belled 'skirt' and no armhole treatment at all-- shoulders are drop, though sleeve caps are slightly rounded. But see how graceful it is, even though shaping is so minimal! A two-button closure means minimal finishing fuss. One very subtle touch is present-- the bodice (starting right at the lowest button) is done in reverse st st, in contrast to the rest of the body and sleeves, which are done in st st. The effect in a yarn such as this one is wonderfully rich.
