A knitting pattern for a child's mitts employing 2-needle construction, with articulated thumb, can be adapted to 4-needles has a slender, more elegant fit with longer cuff; may be embellished by using novelty yarns in cuff.

90 (120, 150) yards of DK or light worsted weight yarn
