Golden Rod Reversible Fingerless Gloves
As Lucy Maud Montgomery declared in her poem, In the Days of the Golden Rod, “The days that are fleetest are still the sweetest.” I can picture Lucy Maud Montgomery’s beloved heroine, Anne (of Green Gables), wearing these gloves while reading a book in a sunlit meadow in autumn. Lush with bold texture, the gloves are constructed with an asymmetrical thumb gusset that fits beautifully, and are equally beautiful worn inside out. (Just be careful when you darn in the ends to do it as invisibly as possible-- Ed.)
