1445 Three Button Blazer

Italians respect the English more than you'd think, and are inspired by (though do not slavishly copy) their styles of dress. Here is a prime example of a natty little tailored blazer, in a great suiting fabric. It's got a square neck folded back to form lapels; the lapels and edges are lined/bordered with two strands of a smooth sportweight/DK yarn worked together. Sleeves are set in with high caps; otherwise there's no shaping to speak of. Porter is careful to point out that the garment as shown is "worked with Italian tubular cast on and cast off" (not defined here, but certainly findable on the internet), and that it's optional.
