Sirdar

The simplest architecture: a slope-shouldered rectangle with a crew front neck (see schematic on data page). And yet, with the right yarn and imagination, look! Obviously it's worked side to side; in this way the direction of the cables and the self-patterning yarn are at odds with each other. It's fascinating to behold. Then you just pick up stitches around an arbitrary 'armhole' and knit a rib; do the same at the neckline and front and back hems; and you're done, and have a uniquely involving piece to jack your wardrobe.
