What we have here is a straight-sided, sloping-shouldered, set-in-sleeved cardigan/jacket of great distinction. Notice the difference in overall effect when you use a plain yarn (in pink, inset) versus the berry marl shown. Astonishingly, the stitch patterning still 'reads' really clearly, even when the yarn itself has a lot to say. The honeycomb cabling at hem and cuffs is complemented by the enormous cable panels on the fronts (they're on either side of the back, too), and makes for a very dramatic piece.
