Litoral Surplice Top

Sometimes novelty yarns are "too hot not to cool down", but there's always a place for good ones, and Polcyn clearly enjoys the glamour of the Litoral. She plays with the garment structure, too. You make short pieces from the bottom up for the bodice, then assemble them; then you pick up from the cast-on edge and knit the 'skirt' down in one piece (you can just see this in the photo). The Litoral is applied afterward with crochet (American terminology). It's really 'evening' without being over the top, and flattering to most women.
