Trudy Van Stralen

for Louet North America   2009

"This beautiful lacy stole is knit in the timeless Ostrich Plume pattern with a reverse single crochet edging," says Van Stralen. "The natural linen fiber drapes elegantly, wears softly, and absorbs moisture. It is also easy care, simply machine wash, dry and then wear!" This last is, in fact, a requirement-- who doesn't adore this in a knitted fabric? Especially since the softness and drape just increases every time you do it. Fine drawings illustrate the reverse single crochet technique.
