9144 Waistcoat
WEB EXCLUSIVE

Where does Sirdar find them? How can they have so many in-house designers/patter writers (20+ at last count) with such mad talent? Here is a spectacular, unexpected vest with one major design element (it's too evident to have to describe it, but involves cables), subtly framed in every way-- and it's easy. The vest's sides are straight, there's no armhole shaping, and the back is solid st st. All the shaping for the fronts is worked at the sides of the pieces; the 'armholes' are minimally finished. And it's just plain stunning.
