BSKD-P025 Hidden Cable Shawl
"I love to ferret out stitch patterns which contain cables, but don't look like 'traditional' cable patterns," confesses Szabo. "This shawl features such a stitch—- the cable is 'hidden' within the lace pattern, hence the name." So graceful, so serene, it seems a natural wave trace you'd find on a sandy beach. Smallish stitch patterns (this one is only 16 rows high) sometimes look lost over a big field, but this one ripples and ebbs in a way that's endlessly interesting. Interesting to work, too-- there are yo's on both sides of the fabric-- but since it's both charted and written out, you can choose your favorite instruction method.
