Pam Allen

for Classic Elite Yarns   2010

9125-E Birch Leaf

This graceful shawl is a natural mate to Allen's celebrated Montera Hat, with many of the same beautiful qualities. The leaf lace pattern is both written out and charted; it's a lovely, regular, brief motif so as not to scare the new lace knitter; it works up quickly; and it's made in one of the most beloved yarns on the market for the last three decades-- Montera. Works perfectly as a shawl on its own, or as a generous muffler gathered under an open-collared coat. Also featured in Cabin, Classic Elite booklet #9125.
