Terry Liann Morris

Flower Patch Socks (Top Down)

"Tiny flowers decorate this picot hemmed sock in a pattern reminiscent of patchwork quilts or a field of flowers," says Morris. "When choosing yarns it would be best to use a solid color that does not have any of the colors in the multi-colored yarn so that the motifs stand out better. Sock is constructed from the top down with a traditional heel flap & gusset shaping at the ankle." Most unusually, the fair isle instructions are given both in written-out form and in clear charts-- welcome thoroughness for a charming design.
