Chris Bylsma

for Chris Bylsma Designs   2006

"I enjoy knitting a classic that defies the logic of time, is understated and easy to knit," explains Bylsma, "but I can't give up my love of color. Two colors of equal value, like the magenta and blue, are rich but not exciting on their own. Add a third, unexpected spark between them, however, and watch how they all come alive. The top is slightly shaped and is designed to glide along curves for a slimming effect. The skirt is fun to knit (in the round-- Ed.)... use the formula provided to custom size the skirt to you. The I-cord applied to the jacket at the end provides a clean, crisp detail at the corners and is a fun finish."
