9012 Lacy Tank or Not

In which you have the best of all possible worlds in a summer tank. Either you have a splendid basic piece, extraordinarily easy to make and with a little hem option, or you can opt for the flirty lacy border at the bottom for more visual and knitterly interest. However you begin, it's worked circularly to the armholes, then split for front and back (which are identical, you get the scoop neck on both sides). Waist shaping is included. Great with any variety of hand painted yarn; the lace pattern is strong enough to hold its own against semi-solid or more dramatic colourways.
