9048 Two Pieces in Sand
WEB EXCLUSIVE

Here are two supremely easy and relaxed pieces, originally intended for summer, but (in almost any pure fibre or blend) quite wearable year-round. Harper's plaid stitch sweater is a pure drop shoulder with flat sleeve tops; its only features are the knit/purl patterning and casual drape. Barnette's hooded coat has slightly set-in armholes and sleeves with a little cap (the better to wear over anything else). Its yoke is ridged, but is otherwise plain. Try these in Katydid now for summer, or Montera for winter-- go up a needle size or two to get gauge.
