Twisty Road Socks
"These socks have a simple twisted stitch pattern that produces a nice diagonal illusion," says Roberts. "Perfect for intermediate or devil-may-care novice sock knitters (the stitch pattern is extremely easy, only 4 rounds high and 4 stitches wide, so we agree-- Ed.)." Many years ago, when Marilyn's granddaughter Liz (aka the Punk Princess) was very small, they would pick up Liz's grandfather from work, taking 'The Twisty Road', as Liz called it. "Drive faster, Gram!" Hence the name for the socks, equally attractive on men or women, though sized for women's small, medium, and large.
