for Perl Grey 2010
"A reversible, mohair, turtleneck tunic," says Thomas. "There's an Empire belt on the front or back of the knit-side, and cozy muff on the purl-side (essentially two joined pockets when worn purl-side out-- Ed.), and seamless, side-to-side construction." Thomas is not a prolific designer, but when you look at how much architectural wizardry goes into her work it's more than understandable. This is a unique garment that makes terrific structural sense, great use of a variegated mohair, and flatters more than most heavier-weight pieces. Amply illustrated with colour photos and two schematics.
