Sirdar

2010

9190 Jacket
WEB EXCLUSIVE

A grand dramatic sweep of a garment, that is nevertheless laughably easy for a beginner who can knit and purl. The back and fronts are just different sizes of rectangles; sleeves have a slightly rounded cap. The overall stitch pattern is a wide rib: the back is worked traditionally, vertically, but the fronts are worked side to side for major drape. This design supports the use of any style of yarn, so don't hesitate to use marls, heathers, tweeds, neps, long or short variegates-- whatever pleases you.
