1396 Zen Cowl Neck Top

What do you want in a spring top to knit? Likely three things: ease of wearing, speed of making, and that it's not boring. Here is a top that admirably combines all three, and is extremely flattering to boot. After the classic feather and fan hem, you decrease gradually for the waist, but don't increase again for the bust-- this gives a bit more body impact, as the fabric has to stretch a bit more over you. The cowl (done, naturally, to match the hem, and knitted in the round) is made separately and sewn on afterwards. Front neck is a V, and all edges are very much fully-fashioned.
