EK706 Bistro Shirt

Dempsey: "The Bistro Shirt is an easy-to-knit, stylish summer top-- also great for wearing under a jacket in the office." If there's a more basic, iconic American sportswear piece, we have yet to see it-- and Dempsey is kind enough to offer it in two gauges. The little cap sleeves are shaped within the front and back pieces, and then the shoulders are cast off together, so the only seams are the side and underarms ones-- hardly worth mentioning. Back neck is shaped for a good shoulder fit. Collar is finished in a slip stitch rib. Hints and tips abound for customization in length.
