FW2003-16 & 17 Two Pullovers

The fantastic pullover on the left is all in a real brioche stitch (with slipped stitches, and overlaying the slipped stitch on top of the one to be worked next). That, combined with the one piece cuff-to-cuff construction, makes it an Experienced rating. The simple lovely pull on the right is a raglan-sleeved classic in a very easy plain rib, with a self-finishing sort of crew (funnel) collar. Both are without any shaping other than what the rib provides, and would be at home on any woman in a Steve McQueen or Clive Owen movie. Original yarn for garment on left was a cable twist 55% merino, 35% microfibre, 10% cashmere, 71 yards/65 metres to 50g, 16 sts to 4"/10cm on a US9/5.5mm needle. Original yarn for garment on right was 50% alpaca, 50% wool, 71 yards/65 metres to 50g, 15 sts to 4"/10cm on a US8/5mm.
