9261 Jacket

A jacket of such innocent sensual splendour that it's hard to look away. As you can see, much of it is very plain and easy to make-- mostly just stocking stitch and double moss. Armholes are carved in a bit, and the sleeve caps are well shaped. The glory is in the two front panels, one cabled, one not (knitted separately from the rest of the garment). After all the plain work you'll be ready to sink your teeth into the cablework, then sew the panels together. finish the neckband and seams, and that's it-- a stunner, and easier than it looks.
