8410 Sweater
WEB EXCLUSIVE

This is clearly shown as a summer sweater, and yet it would be brilliant in the winter as well-- thick, soft, very fast to make, and with some summery flirtiness. It's layerable, so you could wear it over thin tops or turtlenecks, and look smashingly casual. The body starts with just one row of purl on the RS to present the st st from curling; the sleeves don't-- they just launch into a slight bell shape, then increase in the regular way, with a good shape to the cap. This is a very basic pattern with large print, easy instructions, and a lovely result.
