GU417 Rockport Vest
WEB EXCLUSIVE

"This easy-going, updated V-neck vest is worked in a twisted-stitch cable and garter stitch pattern," says Dempsey. "It's suitable for men or women. Instructions are included for both DK and Aran weight yarns." As shown, in the Merino Aran, it's a wonder of mediumweight texture; in a DK, the overall impression would be one of more finesse. Since all 'cable' motions are Right Twist and Left Twist, you don't have to use a cable needle at all, which speeds up your knitting. This is another example of one of our favorite things-- the piece that looks like it could have been designed at virtually any point in knitting's history.
