4708 Sweater
WEB EXCLUSIVE

A workhorse, a backbone, an essential element of a casual wardrobe, this is one of the simplest pullovers going. It's shown in reverse st st, but of course if you wanted the knit side to show, you could just sew it together that way. The front neck and the rudimentary sleeve caps are shaped, and there's a vestige of waist shaping too-- the body increases slowly up to the underarms. The instructions for this garment are actually less than a full page long; perfect for beginners. The original yarn is gone, but Nature's Way or Life Chunky should substitute very well.
