QA08 Pond Scarf

"Pond is a delicate shoulder scarf knit from the top down," explains Corcoran. "It begins with a small triangle. Stitches are picked up along the sides of the triangle to form the side panels. The main part of the scarf is worked in a lace stitch that resembles a graceful lily pad." Amply charted (the instructions are not written out), this is a design that draws a picture-- tells a story-- that could take place on six continents. There is a beautiful variety of lace stitches, yet nothing too difficult to keep track of.
